Dr. Linda Rhodes, O.D., F.A.A.O.
Originally
from California, Linda Rhodes, O.D. began her life
in Houston, Texas as a child of 12. She received her
undergraduate degree in biophysics at the University
of Houston and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree
at the University of Houston College of Optometry.
Dr. Rhodes established the first female-owned private
optometry practice in Houston while teaching part-time
at the University of Houston College of Optometry. She
ran her private practice and remained as a clinical
instructor at the College of Optometry for 19 years
before resigning to practice full time.
With a special interest in binocular vision and vision
training, she has trained children and adults with binocular
anomalies and lazy eye for more than 20 years. In addition,
Dr. Rhodes has extensive experience in primary optometric
care, contact lens fittings, binocular vision anomalies,
and management of ocular disease.
She is a Fellow of the American
Academy of Optometry, the American
Optometric Association, Texas
Optometric
Association, the Harris
County Optometric Association, and Beta
Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Fraternity. Dr. Rhodes
also served as past president of the Westchase
Lions Club.

Dr. Ashley Bagwell, O.D.
Dr. Ashley Bagwell was born and raised in Houston,
Texas. She attended the University of Texas at Austin
and graduated with a Bachelor of Business degree in
Finance in 2004. During three of her years at UT, she
was a member of the UT Cheerleading squad.
Dr. Bagwell graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University
of Houston - College of Optometry in 2009. During her
time in school, she was a teaching assistant and was
a member of the Student Volunteers for Optometric Service
to Humanity. With the Baylor College of Medicine, she
traveled to Santa Ana, Honduras where she provided eye
exams and glasses for the indigent population. She completed
her internships in Houston at Hopping Eye Associates
and the Good Neighbor Clinic. Upon graduation, Dr. Bagwell
joined her mother’s private practice West Houston
Eye.
Dr. Bagwell is licensed as a Therapeutic Optometrist
and is an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She is also
currently a member of the American
Optometric Association, Texas
Optometric Association, and the Harris
County Optometric Association.
In her spare time, Dr. Bagwell enjoys biking, traveling,
reading, Longhorn football, and spending time with her
family and friends.
